Eugene O'Neill'sDesire Under the Elms

3/12/2010 - 3/28/2010 | Directed by Jerry McAdams

The Muddy Water production continues the critically acclaimed seasons of Arthur Miller, Tennessee Williams, Sam Shepard, and, most recently, Edward Albee, with the revered and exciting plays of Eugene O'Neill.

This production will combine the music and dance of the period with thrilling language and compelling influence of classic Greek tragedy. O'Neill wrote for the common woman and man, making the theatre engaging for all.

The Muddy Waters production will feature fiddlers and contradancing.

The intimate Kranzberg Arts Center, with its 90 (comfortable) seats, allows the audience to experience the play and its beautiful language in the way O'Neill intended.
